Villa Sparina Gavi

Villa Sparina Gavi is a white wine made from 100% Cortese grapes in the Piedmont region in North Western Italy. The Villa Sparina winery was founded in the 1970s and is located in the Monterotondo area of Gavi, considered prime territory for the Cortese grape. It is often described as crisp and elegant, with tasting notes that can include citrus, green apple, peach, and white flowers, balanced by minerality. Some vintages also feature more developed flavors like dried pineapple or subtle herbal notes. This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood, light pasta, salads, and creamy cheeses.
