Marie Petillante – Roter Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muskteller is a biodynamic sparkling wine from Wagram, Austria, made by the Soellner winery. This wine is often referred to as a “pet-nat,” or pétillant naturel, which is a method of making sparkling wine that predates the traditional method used for Champagne. Aromas include delicate flavors of cardamom, blood orange, and graham cracker while the palate yields vibrant acidity with a fine mousse. This is a fresh, youthful, light and easy-drinking white blend

Paired with: Potato chips and mixed nuts.

Groiss Gruner Vetliner bottle

2024 – Groiss Weinviertel Gruner Veltliner is a zesty, fresh, and aromatic white wine with vibrant fruit and characteristic white pepper notes. Produced by the organic and family-owned Weingut Ingrid Groiss in Austria’s largest wine-growing region, this vintage is well-regarded for its expressive and drinkable quality. Expect bright and brilliant fruit on the nose, with scents of ripe green apple, quince, and hints of tropical and citrus fruits. Herbal notes like crushed sage, green paprika, and white pepper are also present. The palate is fresh and crisp, featuring flavors of green apple, juicy pear, quince, and citrus, often with a grapefruit pith twist. The classic Grüner Veltliner spice and white pepper notes are prominent and vibrant. The wine has a lively freshness and a slender, zippy body. It is often described as having a pleasant saltiness, yeasty notes, and clean, wet-slate minerality, which adds to a savory and mouthwatering finish

Chill! Red Blend bottle

Gober & Freinbichler “Chill!” is a light-bodied red wine from the Austrian region of Burgenland. The name suggests it is best served with a light chill, which makes it a good option for warm weather. This wine from is described as juicy, light, fruity, and powerful, with savory and smoky notes that make it a good wine for late summer. Aromas include red currant, sour cherry, and crushed raspberries while the palate brings toasted dark berries and fine spices as well as black pepper, purple florals, and ripe blackberries.

Sankt St. Laurent bottle

Rosi Schuster St. Laurent 2022 In the hands of Hannes Schuster, Sankt Laurent becomes a focused expression of the soils in and around St Margarethen. Sankt Laurent is thought to be related to Pinot Noir, a crossing of the noble grape and another variety of unknown origin, native to Burgenland. Hannes’ Sankt Laurent always shows earthy yet fresh mineral-rich notes of cherry and red berries, which explode on the palate. Silky tannins, delicate spice, and a lovely long finish are signature characteristics. As with all the Schuster wines, it is organically farmed with meticulous work in the ideally situated vineyards. This Sankt Laurent was fermented with native yeasts and spent one year in used 500 Liter Stockinger barrels.

Paul Achs Blaufränkisch Heidboden 2021 Reviewers have described this wine as showcasing notes of black cherry, black currant, plum, and raspberry, with an earthy, spicy, and subtly smoky character. It has a medium body, elegant fruit, refreshing acidity, and firm tannins, making it both fresh and long-lasting. Other notes include subtle hints of licorice, orange zest, violets, and roasted wood
