The Karl Schaefer ‘Sonnentropfen’ (meaning “sun drop”) Durkheim Riesling Feinherb 2022 is an off-dry, white wine from Germany’s Pfalz region. It is a vibrant, fruity Riesling with notes of stone fruit (like peach and plum), citrus and hints of yellow flowers and mineral characteristics. The “Feinherb” designation indicates a style that is off-dry, meaning it has a gentle, fruity sweetness balanced by crisp acidity.
