Domaine Vernay ‘Blonde du Seigneur’ Côte-Rôtie

The Domaine Georges Vernay Blonde du Seigneur is a medium to full-bodied red wine from the Côte-Rôtie appellation in the Rhône Valley, France. It is a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, aged in French oak barrels, and is known for its floral and fruity aromas with notes of violet, raspberry, dark cherries, roasted meat, black olive, smokey, and floral notes, and baking spices. The wine has a medium to full body, refined tannins, and a bright, elegant character, with a long and persistent finish. Aged in French oak barrels and drinkable now but can be held for 10+ years.
