Description
This is the second wine of Château Lassègue ,a Saint-Émilion wine estate. The name refers to the sundial visible on the label, symbolizing the excellent sun exposure of the vineyards. Sourced from the same vineyards as the grand vin, it is designed to be enjoyed at a younger age. Award-winning winemaker Pierre Seillan crafts this wine, a blend dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc. It is aged in oak barrels for a shorter period than the grand vin (approximately 10 months), which helps to preserve the freshness of the fruit. This wine is a fruity wine with aromas of cherry, blackberry and plum, mineral notes and soft tannins, making it approachable and enjoyable to drink young.
